Punter (V1=PD) (V2=F1LW)

This is Punter by Steve and Belinda Bye from 1996

There are 2 versions of this Game, V1 which was released as PD, and V2 which was an improved version which was released under F1 Licenceware, Both versions are included

As you can probably tell, this is a Horse Racing Game with Betting Elements pre-race,

Upto 4 Players can play, and there is also a difficulty level option as well, once you have selected these options and continued, You will be provided with “The Racing Sport” which will list the Horses in the Next Race

On this screen you click on “BET” and then the “Place Your Bet” screen appears, with Win and Each Way etc, so you press on say WIN, then you can select a Horse, and confirm it by clicking OK underneath the Horse List, and then you can enter the amount of money (or Stake) what you want to bet against that horse, again confirming it with OK

Once all that is done, you can then choose to Accept what you clicked, or Cancel it and do it all over again, once accepted, you will return to The Racing Sport screen, where you can click on RACE and see the horses race against each other

If you win, You get extra money credited to your balance, and if you lose, you lose the Stake you placed upon that Horse

Punter V2 is an updated version which was released under F1 Licenceware, and works the same way as V1 does, But has a New Title Screen, Load and Save Game features, New menu on racecard, Galloping Sample in the race, Improved Race Scenery Graphics, You can also Freeze the Race for any reason at any point, There is a Quick Race mode, and option to see what horses you bet on (B), New Stamper Sample, Fixed a lot of Bugs in the Game, and even has an Amiga Guide Documentation as well – AND – there is even a Cheat Code which is not revealed in the documentation (HA! HA!)
