Amiga Boing Blog Celebrates its 4th Birthday

Today Amiga Boing Blog is 4 years old – What a journey so far eh? – Plenty to do here still

Not only am I building the largest Public Domain, Shareware and Freeware Games (collectively “PD”) Collection the Amiga has ever seen (and you can even copy them to a Real Amiga since I started using Files instead of the HDF (Hard Drive File) as Kickstart 1.3 only allows them upto 49MB, after that System Requesters will complain on every boot

This year so far, I have reviewed and added some pretty cracking PD Games, and thanks to permission from Andy Vaisey, there is Spheroid and its Christmas Edition

Phil Ruston gave me permission to release his F1 Licenceware Games, Aquanaut, Operation Firestorm, and Giddy II, as well as the PD version of [Wibble World] Giddy

I have also featured Kevin Gallagher / Towerbyte Software Games onto the Collection, Dodge Em, Gorf, Space Invasion and Space Invasion II

Rob Smith allowed me to feature his Games on this Collection too, Bunny’s Bounty, Bunny’s Revenge, which have already been featured – Still to come are.. Hop To The Top, Trick Or Treat, and Present Drop, Present Drop 2, and Present Drop 3 – As I like to keep Games together, and some run fast on KS3.1, all these Games will be featured on KS1.3 side of the Games Collection

I have managed to fix the Game “XII” by Alastair Murray so it will run again, as it was fixed to a HDD folder, which is pretty useless if you wanted to play it from a Floppy Disk or GoTek Drive for example, now it is a simple assign’able name

I did my first Car Month, which featured High Octane, Moose Drive, Racing Maniacs and Super Skoda Challenge

Over December, there will be some more cracking F1 Licenceware Games coming, Thanks to Andy Kellett who gave me his blessing to release them, including Touch’N’Go and Classic Pucman, Both favourite Games of mine too, and I will also include the original Demo versions of them (some do not have Demo Versions) as some Demos do have completely different levels to the Full Release

Then we are into the NEW YEAR 2025 – I wonder what Games will be coming then ..

Gotta wait to see hehe – Cannot give too much away now can I?
