Touch ‘N’ Go
This is Touch ‘N’ Go by Alan Carter / Cartersoft Productions in 1994, Released under F1 Licenceware
I have wanted to Review this for quite a while as it is a favourite Game of mine, and I play it an awful lot
You start the Game and are a Green Blob with Yellow Eyes, and your task is to run over all of the tiles on the level, Get to the Exit square before they all vanish so you can complete the level
Basically, if you Touch a Tile, it Goes, hence Touch ‘N’ Go, so some skill is needed here to ensure you can complete the levels
Your task is to touch every tile with a Red, Yellow or Blue Dot on them, to clear them away, without falling off into oblivion, and without staying on the Tiles too long, as they will vanish and take you with them if you are still stood on the top of them
Each tile has certain characteristics, which are mentioned below:
START TILE – (Marked with “S”) – This is where you Start the Level
BRIDGE TILE – (Push Button on it) – Pressing this activates all the UNACTIVATED TILES on the Level, essentially filling them in so you can go onto them
ACTIVATED TILE – (Solid Tile) – These can be stepped onto in order to pass sections of the level, They do not disappear, But must be activated by the BRIDGE TILE first
UNACTIVATED TILE – (Empty Tile with a Border) – Touch these and you will fall through costing you a Life, These must be activated by a Switch on the Level first!
TELEPORTER TILE – (Marked with “T”) – These Tiles Teleport you around the Level when you press the Fire Button, These can take you to different parts of the Level where you can clear off some tiles
THRUST PAD – (Tiles with Direction Arrows on them) – These force you into the Direction specified (eg. Up/Down/Left/Right) so you need to counteract them if landing on them
SLOW TILE – Slows you down to a Crawl, ideally avoided if possible as this will make it more difficult to exit the level in time
EXCLAMATION TILE – Speeds you up, Best to use this after the SLOW TILE so you do not run out of time
1UP TILE – Gives you an Extra Life
EXIT TILE – (Small Block in Centre surrounded by Yellow and Red dots) – Exits the Level, But only once all Platforms have dropped into oblivion below
RED SQUARE TILE – (Small Red at Bottom Right) – These tiles only hold for one second before vanishing into the abyss below, taking you with it if you are still stood on it!
YELLOW TILE – (Small Yellow at Bottom Right) – These tiles hold for 2 seconds
BLUE TILE – (Small Blue at Bottom Right) – These tiles hold for 3 seconds

The Full Version and Demo Version have different levels, and even the in-game background is different as well, so I have included both versions on the Games Collection
