The Commercial Game-of-the-month this time is Midnight Resistance by Ocean/Special FX in 1990

Your mission is to rescue your family, You get initially armed with a pea shooter style weapon, which you can use to shoot enemies, they are in Blue Skins and Yellow Skins

The Yellow Skinned Enemies will drop an Item upon being killed, which you pickup to purchase things at the end of level shop

In the shop, you can choose between various weapons, such as a Flamethrower, 3-way Shooter, Machine Gun and a Shotgun, as well as Nitro, and a Barrier which spins around you what protects you from enemies if they hit the Barrier on its way around

The graphics on the Amiga version are pretty decent and are similar to the arcade visuals, some areas are quite detailed, The music is also excellent and very nice to listen to as well, which adds to the Greatness of this Amiga Port
