Walker [D]

The Commercial Game of the Month goes to Walker by DMA Design from 1993

Walker is a Game where you need to take out little soldiers, Tanks, Planes and more, You have a Gun which if excessively used, has to time out to recharge, so use sparingly

You walk through a bombed-out place during World War II, and through a city which has seen better days, Your mission is to shoot anything that moves, enemies come in various forms which you should kill

There are only 4 levels in the Full Game, but they are quite long, and are in various sections

The Game makes use of both the Mouse and Joystick, where the Mouse moves your aim and Fires, The Joystick controls the movement

Walker originally came on 3 Floppy Disks, and took nearly forever to load, although during loading there is a star-based designs which form the words “Loading” with a circular design at the top, and a rotating line at the bottom, along with “Decrunching” which forces the dots to the middle

There is a Demo version included in the KS13-Side of the Games Collection
