This is Alien Frenzy by Paul Nordovics
In this 2-Player Frenzy, You start on a randomly generated grid, and your task is to eliminate your opponent
To help you with this task red pods will spawn, giving you such things as invisible, homing, splitter, standard and others, once you either kill your opponent
You can simply collect 10 of these red pods which causes the Game ends and shows you the result of the last match
At the bottom of the screen is the HUD, which shows you the Scores, Level and Time left in the middle, and on the left and right of that shows you your current player status, which includes your Energy Bar and the amount of pods you have collected, Collect 10 or shoot your opponent 3 times to end the round
