In order to make it easier, I have written a Update batch file for you so you can just download the “Updates” for the previous month rather than having to download a 50MB+ archive each month
The August 2023 Update on this website contains the FULL Update for the month of July 2023, so you will not need to use the included “Update_Games_Collection” batch file until September 2023
From September 2023, You can run the Updater every month to just update the Changed Files in the Games Collection, which will basically be the Menu files (when I add New Games to them), and also the Games themselves which are added each month
For example the July 2023 Update archive will include Updates to the SEUCK and Demo Menu Files, along with Updates to the 2023 Folder (The 4 SEUCK Games) and the Demos folder (ApidyaDemo) – These are the only files you need so it makes the Update Archive smaller in size, around 2MB, which will download much quicker than a 50MB+ Archive
New Downloaders will initially have to download the FULL Archive, and then can use the Updater from the month after (eg. If you download the archive in November, then you can use the Updater method from December and onwards into the future
As always when I update the Games Collection and RP9 Files, I will post Updates to both Twitter/X and Mastadon so you all know when to run the Updater
The Updater itself will re-download itself every month as well, just to make sure it is up to date
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT EDIT ANY OF THE UPDATER BATCH FILES AND/OR DELETE WGET OR 7ZIP – IF YOU DO EITHER OF THESE, THEN THE UPDATER WILL NOT WORK
