Since Amiga Boing Blog is ending, I thought I would add a few words here:

I have been very lucky to have had an Amiga 500, 600, and 1200 during my
childhood years, having such a wonderful machine has been great, I know
I used it mainly for Games, but it also had some wonderful Utilities disks
made, and even Word Processors and so on, The Amiga is a really versatile
machine, all those magazines we had back then too, like Amiga Format,
Amiga Action, CU Amiga to name a few, to getting hold of my all time
favourite Commercial Game, which has to be the one, the only
                      C A N N O N F O D D E R
That game for me, really was loaded so much from the point I got it, I have
completed the Game, and even managed to keep 2-3 of the starting soldiers
alive, it takes some skill to accomplish this, the Game Theme tune is so
nice, although since losing my brother, its meaning has changed for me,
But I still love hearing it, and playing CF as well, then when the Boot Hill
music came on, and you had to swap to Disk 2, even that music is nice to
   listen to and well made

Building this Games Collection, Amiga Forever RP9 Collection,
and now the A600GS Collection, so that many can just now load them up and play
without fiddling with configurations is my proudest achievement to the
   Amiga Community

I have dedicated my Whole Collection to the memory of The Great Jay Miner
(31st May 1932 20th June 1994, 62) - who without his input the Amiga may
not have even existed, but he managed to bring us all, one of the Greatest
Machines ever, the Amiga, so I am really grateful to him for making my
childhood complete in more ways than one, Thankyou Jay Miner R.I.P.

I know the Games I have put into this Collection are Public Domain, Shareware,
and Freeware, but where possible I have always tried my best to ask for
permission to distribute the Games/Demos from the original author/creator
where possible, most have given me their blessing to release them, and I
have done without any cost to the community

Building this Collection up takes a lot of work, I have even edited Games which
used fixed devices like DF0: for example the Game "Baldy" referenced DF0:
so I changed it to BAL: which then can be Assigned, eg. Assign BAL: ""
the "" means current folder, so at least everyone can play that Game directly
from my Games Collection without any issues

I have really enjoyed the 5 years (from November 2020 thru December 2025),
where I have built up entirely from scratch:

   * The Amiga Boing Games Collection powered by WinUAE (could also use it with
UAE on Linux if you wanted to, although would need to change the folders
     location)

   * Amiga Forever RP9 files so everyone who has purchased Amiga Forever, can
also enjoy the Games/Demos as well

   * The A600GS Collection - I am quite glad I got one of these from amigakit.com
since it is really easy to add new games onto it, they have worked very
hard to make this easy to use from the outset, and it supports the Original
Amiga Mouse and Joysticks, from my testing, my original SpeedKing Joystick
     and Amiga Mouse work fine!

I am not sure if it is the "Largest Ever Games Collection" for the Amiga,
But I think it will be, since if you count the A600GS Collection alone, there
are over 450+ Games/Demos in HDF form, and 270+ in ADF form, makes you wonder
if it is the biggest ever collection, maybe I need to contact the
   Guiness Book Of Records :D

At least everyone can now grab these archives, and play the included Games
instantly without fiddling with configurations etc, and getting them to work

I have done all the hard work for you, including getting those Floppy-Only
Games to work from the Collection, even had to hex edit DF0: out of some
so I could make assignments, I did all that before realising that "DEVREN"
existed, But I did it because I wanted all the Games loadable from faster
HDF images (in the case of Amiga Forever RP9 and A600GS) and from a
folder/directory method (in the case of the Games Collection)

I hope I have made it much easier for the Amiga Community to grab the
Collection and Game on, without having to mess with settings to get these
   Games to work

From the Games Collection (WinUAE), Amiga Forever RP9, or even
The A600GS Collection, I hope I have covered as many bases as I can
and allowed several ways for you all to enjoy them

I did ask on both Twitter/X, and Mastodon regarding Donations, most
   wanted optional donations:
       https://x.com/AmigaBoing/status/1981031518085448041
          Around 66% wanted Optional Donations

       https://mastodonapp.uk/@AmigaBoing/115418709367521724
          Around 78% wanted Optional Donations

So based on the above, If anyone wishes to donate to me (entirely optional)
please contact me via the following methods, and I can provide you a link
   to donate to me:

Thankyou so much everyone, from everyone who has donated, to those who
simply download the Collection and play some Games on it, and everyone
else in between, and the wider Amiga Community, who has made me feel
so welcome, Thankyou to you all :)
