     INTRODUCTION
   """"""""""""""""

Welcome to the Amiga Boing Classic Game Collection, My aim in creating this
Huge Games Collection is to make it as easy as possible for anyone to start
enjoying and playing some quite wonderful Classic Amiga Games in a portable
easy-to-use package, which can be put on a USB Stick and taken anywhere!

This archive includes WinUAE and Game Files for the Amiga Games, upon loading
you will be presented with a Menu System in which you can select the Game what
   you want to play!

NOTE: The Amiga Kickstart ROMs are still under copyright, and therefore I
cannot legally distribute them, Please see below on how to obtain them if you
   do not currently have them

If you have a Real Amiga:
   """""""""""""""""""""""""
You could extract the ROM from your Real Amiga using something like GrabKick on
   AmiNet (https://aminet.net/search?query=grabkick)

Copy the folders "AmigaBoingHDF\KS13" and "AmigaBoing\KS31" over to your Real Amiga
using something like a "CF to PCMCIA Adapter" from AmigaKit
   (https://amigakit.amiga.store/easyadf-pcmcia-compact-flash-transfer-p-440.html)
then use an Amiga Directory Utility like SID or Directory Opus to copy the files
from the CF to your Amiga Hard Disk, You may need to edit the "Play" files for
each Game and remove the line -> CD :20xx/[..] <- leaving the rest intact, including
any Assigns for Fonts or Game Directories, as they are required!

Under Emulation you have 2 choices to obtain the Kickstart ROM files:
   """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
You can obtain the Kickstart ROMS via Amiga Forever (https://www.amigaforever.com)
If you have Amiga Forever already, Please run the "Copy Amiga Forever Kickstart ROMS"
file which will, copy the ROM files over and rename them correctly for you!

There is the "Value Edition" which only contains the Kickstart 1.3 ROM priced
at *9.95 EUR - Buying this will only allow you to play the KS1.3 Games, while *SOME*
of the KS3 Games will work, some like George Repton will not work as they require
   AGA chipset support for example

The "Plus Edition" contains both Kickstart 1.3 and 3.1 ROM files, and is priced
at *29.95 EUR - Buying this gives you access to this entire collection

However, there is a cheaper option via the Android Google Play Store, You can
search for "Amiga Forever Essentials" and then get the ROM files from there
at less than *2 GBP (approx 2.33 EUR)

(*All Listed Prices correct as of 22/Sep/2021)

   Goto the following folder: /Android/data/com.clonto.amigaforever.essentials/files/rom
then copy the files to your External Storage, so you can then access them from
your PC-Side - You only need the following 2 files:

amiga-os-130.rom -> rename to KICK13.ROM and put in WinUAE\ROMS folder
amiga-os-310-a1200.rom -> rename to KICK31.ROM and put in WinUAE\ROMS folder

Some games will only work in Kickstart 1.3 as some hooked into undocumented features
of the KS1.3 ROM, which are not available under KS2/3, therefore many of these Games
have problems ranging from Graphics Issues to actual Loading and/or Gameplay Issues!

Where possible the original files for each game are included, and please be
aware, while I have included the original documentation alongside each game
the information contained within these files will almost certainly be
out-of-date, as respect to, the addresses listed and/or contact details of
how to register them and so on, they are simply included for completeness

All of the games included are still copyright by thier respective creators, They
have allowed them to be distributed under the Public Domain/Shareware or Freeware
Labels respectively, and where possible I have also asked for further permission
for myself to distribute them on these images

     UPDATES / GENERAL INFO
   """"""""""""""""""""""""""

Near the end of each month you can visit amigaboing.net to download new
updates to this package, which have been released

Please Remember at any time during Emulation, you can press F12 to bring
up WinUAE Settings Dialog then either click "Quit" to Quit the Emulator
or press on "Restart" to load another game!

If you are using the RP9 files, they normally launch in fullscreen mode,
you can quit the emulation at any time by also pressing F12 then either
on "Quit" or "Restart" which will reload the game

     DEFAULT CONTROLS
   """"""""""""""""""""

The default key controls for each game are the 4 Arrow Keys, and the
Right CTRL key to Fire, and Right SHIFT for 2nd Fire Button (very few
   games use 2nd fire button)

(NOTE: This is Keyboard Layout B in WinUAE:
          Cursor Keys - Right CTRL/ALT=Fire - Right SHIFT=2nd Fire)

You can also configure your Joysticks if required by going to WinUAE
options, "Game Ports" and choosing your joystick from the list, you
may also need to click "Remap / Test" and remap some buttons depending
   on the joystick used.

If you want Full Screen, simply open the WinUAE dialog with F12, and then
click "Host -> Display" and where it says Native: "Windowed" change this
to "Fullscreen" and click OK to proceed (NOTE: If you press F12 after this
it will pop back to Windows before it shows the configuration dialog)

     DISCLAIMER & COPYRIGHT
   """"""""""""""""""""""""""

THERE IS *NO* COPYRIGHTED CONTENT DISTRIBUTED WITH THIS COLLECTION, WHICH
INCLUDES THE AMIGA KICKSTART ROMS WHICH ARE STILL COPYRIGHTED, AND NO
COMMERCIAL GAMES ARE INCLUDED FOR THE SAME REASON(S)

THE GAMES/DEMOS WHICH ARE INCLUDED IN THESE ARCHIVES, FALL UNDER 2 TYPES
OF SOFTWARE, NAMELY THE "FREEWARE" AND "SHAREWARE" LABELS, WHICH ARE
DESCRIBED BELOW (DESCRIPTIONS FROM WIKIPEDIA, AND LINKS TO THEM BELOW)

Shareware is a type of proprietary software which is initially provided
free of charge to users, who are allowed and encouraged to make and share
copies of the program. Shareware is often offered as a download from a
website or on a compact disc included with a magazine.

Freeware is software, most often proprietary, that is distributed at no
monetary cost to the end user. There is no agreed-upon set of rights,
license, or EULA that defines freeware unambiguously; every publisher
defines its own rules for the freeware it offers.
