33;4mCopyright Noticem:

Moor is Shareware. If you use Moor on a regular basis please consider
sending the registration fee of $5. I do not want to have to cripple Moor.

Moor may be freely distributed as long as you include all of the original
files and documentation.

Moor may not be used for commercial purposes with out written consent from
the author.

Moor may be included in a public domain disk collection as long as the fee
charged does not exceed the cost of the disk.

This program makes use of:

XPKMaster.library Copyright U. Dominik Mueller & Bryan Ford
ReqTools.library Copyright Nico Franois
MagicWB (Icon Style) Copyright Martin Huttenloher

33;4mMoor Informationm:

Text display and scrolling in Moor is extremely fast. To accomplish this
Moor must analyze the text file before it is initially displayed as well as
the first time you switch word wrap mode On/Off. You will probably not
notice this (especially with faster cpu's) unless the file size becomes
very large.

33m4mInstallationm:

You need to have ReqTools.library and XPKMaster.library installed in your
LIBS: directory. Click on the "Install Libs" icon to do this automatically.
You will be asked before any installation is done.

Also, under V2.5+, you must have the file "Moor_Help" in your S: directory
if you want to use the HELP option in Moor. This will also be done by the
installation program.

33;4mUsagem:

From Workbench there are 3 choices:

1) Click on Moor's icon. This will bring up a file requester.

2) While holding <SHIFT>, click once on one or more text file icons,
   then twice on Moor's icon.

3) Put Moor's path and filename in the "Default Tool" line of a text files
icon information. You can now double click on that icon.

From CLI, type Moor followed by zero or more filenames:

Moor <filename 1> <filename 2>... <filename x>

33;4mMarking Textm:

To mark text, hold down the shift key and then press the mouse button once.
The line you clicked on should now be highlighted. Place the mouse over the
last line that you want to be marked and again hold shift and press the
button. If you change your mind about the second mark, you can change it
by repeating the second click. You can now print the marked text or copy
it to the clipboard.

If your second click is equal to or above the initial line, then you will
cancel mark mode.

If you want to "unmark text" you can use the menu option or press "RAMIGA-b".

33;4mText Editorm:

Moor looks in the environment variable ENV:Editor to find the default text
editor path/filename you want to use. You can set this variable by typing
(in a shell):

setenv Editor <filename>

33;4mMouse Scrollingm:

If you hold down the left mouse button while in the display window, you can
scroll around the text file. The farther away from the center of the window
(up/down) the mouse pointer is, the faster the file will scroll. If the
pointer is at the far left/right of the screen, the screen will scroll left
or right.

33;4mMonochrome Modem:

In adding ANSI color handling there is a loss in scrolling speed. That is
why I added "monochrome mode". Monochrome mode allows faster scrolling and
screen updating, but you will not see ANSI color changes.

You are slightly limited in text/background color choices in monochrome mode
(because of bitplane limitations). Because of this you can have 4mseperatem
color preferences for the monochrome and color modes. This means that if you
select certain text/background colors in monochrome mode, they may not be
the same when you switch to ANSI mode.

Search/mark highlight color settings do NOT work in monochrome mode.

33;4mSearchm:

When you perform a search, Moor highlights all occurances of the text it
finds and then goes to the first occurance starting at the current position
in the file. The text will remain highlighted until another search is done.
Use "Find Next" & "Find Last" to find the next or last occurances of the
text. If you have reached the beginning or end of the file, then a
requester will come up asking you if you want to continue.

If you want to turn off the search highlights, you can press use the menu
option or press "RAMIGA-S".

33;4mKnown Bugsm:

ANSI codes are only active for the current line. For example, if bold mode
is turned on it will not wrap around, it will be automatically "shut off" at
the end of the line. This will most likely not be changed in the future.
The overhead to handle this situation is not worth the speed loss.

Sometimes you can get stuck in mouse scroll mode. If this occurrs, press the
mouse button once to free it. I am currently looking for ways to fix this
problem.

33;4mBug Reportsm:

If you encounter any problems please tell me your system setup (OS version,
CPU type, memory etc..). If you can tell me any information about the file
you were trying to view, where it was located, or anything else that would be
very helpful.

I love getting mail from people, especially from countries outside of the US.
If you have any ideas for the next release drop me a note. If not, then just
write and tell me what you think of Moor.
