 What is BS?

-BS is short for Bloodsuckers, an already legendary finnish group
whose Nakkisormi rules-demos are some of the best we have ever
        seen. (Hoffo tarjoo kalja!)

-It is ALSO short for a brilliant game conversion from VeCtRa, Da
bEsT pOlE-vAuLtErS dIs SiDe Of Da pEcOs.

-BS The Game is a simple yet challenging test of skill in which luck
    plays little if any role.

-Your aim is to clear as much of the chosen playfield as possible
    without setting off a BOMB.

 How do I play BS?

-First, choose the size of the playfield. This may depend on the
desired difficulty, the time available etc.The choice is yours.

-Next, the percentage of the bombs in the area. We advise keeping 25
to 30 percent as the absolute max. but again, what the hell, if you
think you can manage 99, go ahead, we dare you: it IS your game now.

-Now the game begins. Just uncover a block by pressing the left mouse
button. Like, wow! There was no BOMB in it. CONGRATULATIONS,you
made it through the first stage! But wait, there seems to be a
number there instead. I wonder what THAT could meen?

-The number indicates the number of bombs touching this block. Great!
Now. you can make logical conclusions as to which blocks have a bomb
and which do not. The game is all but solved to the attentive mind.

 What good is it anyway?

-Actually, we dont really know. We just think it is kinda cute. It has
been seen to cause addiction in some weak-minded individuals, ie.
Morrison, and it IS admittedly a surefire way to pass an hour or
five and end up frustrated, tired and with numbers and blocks swing-
ing wildly in your head. Is it truly worth it? Not really.

Have you got anything left to say?

-Ja, haelsningar till alla mina slaektningar och vaenner och...
    oj nej men uschhh!

-Well, actually we DO have some suggestions.
       *Beginners:
start off with a small field and 12-18 percent
bombs to get the hang of it. Then move to larger
areas and THEN to more bombs.

                   to be continued...
       *Competition mode:
we have found a good challenge useful, so our current
playing mode is with the WHOLE field, 40*30, and 25
percent. The record at the moment is from Morrison, 604
blocks. A good start is hard to find this way, plus you
usually have to resort to guessing at one stage of the
game or another, but we have gotten used to it, so why
shouldnt you? See if you can beat him: it seems to be too
          much for me.

       *Bugs etc. :
most of them should be removed by now. However, at
least the .a version had a leakage in the the lower and
upper borders, that is, they could give the right numbers
or any other. Watch out for this: if you notice such a
mistake, write to us and BS v.1728.13c:The Slight Return
          will be promptly released.

*And finally, to The Indominable ROCKET OF AURORA:
A thousand apologies for the interminable delay. Honest.
The cassette should reach you at last with this production,
I hope you are satisfied with the sound quality as well as
with the contents. All the best to you in the future!

Okay, enough for today. This product is Public Domain and as such
freely distributable, but if you feel that this product has been
worth a penny or two, feel free to send the money to your local
Red Cross or something. Now, I think I will go and enjoy another
perfectly beautiful winter day. Go and do likewise. From all of
us to all of you, a good winter und a happy new spring!
