      INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing this data disk. If you are looking for
hours of fun, superb game play and heaps of excitement then you have
      bought wisely.

In producing this disk I have striven to provide the very best in
playability. In fact, each one of the six sets presented here has
taken me between twelve and sixteen hours to complete. Of course, I
didn't have to take that long but I was adamant that I wanted to
produce something really special that people would really enjoy
playing and would want to play again and again.

I was also determined to make each set of boards as varied and
interesting as possible. As such, I have put all my creative efforts
into these boards so that there is very little repetition. You will
see when you load them up that every set provides a whole plethora
of new, original and exciting ideas.

Not only that, but I have made absolutely sure that every board
works perfectly. What I have aimed at doing is to provide a good
balance of different skill levels, but without making the boards too
easy or too difficult (though the odd very easy or frustratingly
difficult one has been thrown in for good measure to either give you
a few well earned easy points or to give you a real challenge).

Another thing I have made sure of is that all boards containing
metal bricks have a good chance of being completed before the metal
bricks turn to explosive ones. Naturally, a lot depends upon how the
ball bounces, and at times no matter how well the boards have been
designed there will always be occasions when the ball will knock
hell out of a certain group of bricks turning them into explosive
ones before the rest of the board can be completed. On the whole
though, this problem has been minimised and shouldn't present too
      much of a problem.

Last, but not least, each and every board has been thoroughly tested
without the use of 'power-ups' so that if you are unlucky not to
catch any then the boards can still be completed.

Well, that wraps up the introduction so all you need to do now is
find out how to install these incredible boards so you can start
      playing them. Have fun!

      HOW TO INSTALL YOUR BOARDS

Installing the boards is simplicity itself. All that is required is
that they are copied to your Boris disk (preferably a
back-up copy in case of any accidents), or the same drawer on your
hard disk where Boris has been installed. (They don't have to go
into any special directory, just put them where the 'default.Boards'
      file resides).

Floppy disk users double click on the 'Floppy_Install' icon and this
will all be done for you. (you may have to boot this disk for the
installer to work if your Workbench does not have Iconx installed)

Hard drive users should be capable of copying the six files to their
Boris directory. The files are called:

      One.boards, Two.boards, Three.boards.....etc.

Once installed, load Boris up and from the main menu click on 'LOAD'
and then type in the name of the set you want to play, i.e. ONE for
set one, and TWO for set two etc.

That's it! You are now ready for some really amazing game play!

      THANKS

Thanks to Ben Wyatt for producing Boris Ball in the first place (and
for making those superbly addictive default boards that kept me from
my bed for nights on end playing them, and inspiring me to produce
my own). I'm sure that very few people will disagree with me that
Boris Ball is the best and most playable bat 'n' ball game yet made.

Thanks also to Steve Bye at for all his help (much appreciated).

And last, but certainly not least, YOU for buying this disk.
