I am always on the look out for people who can help me.
I personally can program and draw basic graphics pretty well,
but when it comes down to music and 3D rendering I'm
  hopeless :)

At the moment I'm currently making a Command & Conquer /
Dune 2 clone called Conquest (as of 02/99), so if you can
help me with any of the aboove things please get in contact me.

     My address

  Thanks,

  Anthony Sherratt

If you use this software and you like it, than I (Anthony
Sherratt) would be eternally grateful to you, if you send me
your feelings and comments about this game.

I would really love to hear from anyone who are still
interested in the Amiga as a games machine. I would also
like to know what games you think the Amiga is lacking.
Please don't say something like Tomb Raider or another Quake
clone, I'm not that good :) Maybe you would like to help
    me ?

At the moment I'm currently making a Command & Conquer /
Dune 2 clone (as of 02/99). I'm looking for anyone who
are talented in 3D rendering and making music modules.

Monty the Wolf was created by me sometime around early 1992. I was
doodling on a piece of paper and making up characters. I was always
(and still am) a fan of Eric Schwartz, and that's where I got the
  idea.

I myself have always been into drawing and animation but never
really had the patience to stay days upon weeks drawing frame
  after frame :(

Anyway my other past time was programming, so I thought it would be
a great idea to mix the two (also it was the craze back then, you
know with Aladdin, Jungle Book and so on :) The idea was turned
  into this game.

I actually started to program the game when AF had 'Program An AMOS
Game' competition. The original idea was todo a Beat'em up game with
a couple of friends from school called 'Intense Force', but that
seemed to just to be a passing thought. So instead of just giving up
I starting programming Monty. The target date for completion came and
went, I seemed just to think the project was too big to finish it on
  my own.

A year passed and I still hadn't finished it so the competition was
not an option. I gave up really so I sent AF and CU Amiga a demo
of the game, it was the support I got that told me I HAD to finish
  this game.

Here we go, this is the last version I did. It may still contain
bugs, but the game is nearly 5 years old now. There is quite abit
I could/would to different but thats how you learn I suppose.

Thanks alot for playing the game and I hope you enjoy it as much
  as I enjoyed creating it...

  Anthony Sherratt

  Introduction:

Monty is a wolf, who lives in a village. One day Monty goes out in the
forest playing with his bouncy ball. Meanwhile his village is attacked
by aliens. The aliens steal all the diamonds that power the village.
Having no diamonds is disaterous for the village.

Monty returns to find that the aliens just finishing off packing the
diamonds in the cargo bay ready to take off.

Only Monty could do something about it. Quick thinking he grabs a
parachute and jumps on board the alien craft as it is taking off. As the
alien craft is just nearing the atmosphere Monty finds a lever, thinking
it might stop the craft he pulls it. But, the lever opens the cargo bay
doors and all of the diamonds fall out, scattering all over the world.
Monty jumps off the ship to go round and collect as many diamonds as he
can before it is too late for his village.

However, the aliens want the diamonds for there power source so they all
return to Montys planet to collect them before Monty does. The aliens put
all the animals of the forest under a spell so they will stop Monty in
  any way they can.

You control Monty through the levels collecting diamonds, and avoiding
alien influenced animals, the only way you can stop them is by using the
bouncy ball Monty was playing with. Throwing the ball at the animals a
  few times stops them.

Can you stop the village before it is too late............

No such thing here, just simply drag the directory over to disk
or hard-drive and double click on the monty icon, the game SHOULD
   load and run.

ANY PROBLEMS YOU MAY HAVE, PLEASE GET IN CONTACT WITH ME.

From the title screen, selecting options, the following options
    will be displayed:

                            LIVES: 3
                            GAME MODE: NORMAL
                            HISCORE: LOAD
                            LEVEL CODE: ------
                            DETAIL: HIGH
                            EXIT

Here are the options in more detail:

    LIVES: 3 / 5 / 7
    -------------------------------------------------------------
This shows how many lives you will have from the start of the
    game. (Never)

    GAME MODE: EASY / NORMAL
    -------------------------------------------------------------
This tells you how the game will be played. In EASY mode you
will have less diamonds to collect and you will only have to
hit the baddies a few times In NORMAL mode then the game
will be in default mode, giving you the normal amount of
diamonds to collect and the baddies will have the normal
    amount of hits.

    HISCORE: LOAD / SAVE
    -------------------------------------------------------------
Selecting between these will not do much as they are, but
pressing F10 while on this option will let you save the high
score table, so you can show off your all time greatest to
    all your friends.

    LEVEL CODE: ------
    -------------------------------------------------------------
The level codes help you jump to a certain part of the game.
Each level has a code and to unlock them you need to get a
pair of question marks on the bonus round. The code will be
displayed when loading the next level, jot it down and enter
it next time round. Todo this simply type the number via the
    keyboard.

    DETAILS: LOW / HIGH
    -------------------------------------------------------------
The game has two detail levels. If you have a slow AMIGA such
as a standard A500 or A600 then use the LOW option, as the
games runs faster, but you don't have to. If you have a 1200
or better then use the HIGH option for all the glory of a
    overall better display. I have a 030 / 50Mhz AMIGA 1200 and
the game runs without a single jump on the HIGH option.

BARRELS - Pick up and pile up to reach for higher places.
Also very handy for killing baddies more
                        quickly.

BUTTONS - Jump on these to trigger something off, like
open doors and start platforms off.

SPECIAL STARS - These are hidden well, there is one hidden in
each world. To find them you have to explore
each level slowly and always try the
                        unordinary.

Collecting ALL four will unlock the cheats and
allow you to see the full ending.

    The Sub Game:
    --------------
Collecting all of MONTYs name will bring up the bonus round, here
you can collect extra lifes and level codes. The level that you were
just playing will automatically be completed.

To play the syb game simply pick and match the cards. The bar on the
right shows you what you have won and on the left shows you how
much time is left todo so.

To select a card move the highlighted box over the card you want and
press FIRE. Selecting any two the same will make you collect that
item. What you have collected will be displayed on the left side of the
    screen.

The level code will be shown on the next loading screen, jot the code
down and enter it into the option screen to restart at that level.

    Guardians
    ---------
Every 5 levels there will be a special baddie that is much bigger and
meaner than the rest. They will need to be defected before you can
carry on with your quest to the next world.

    Games Done
    ----------
The following games I have also completed, they can be
downloaded from the ASP DESIGN homepage or the Aminet.

    Survivors DX
This is a gravity game, pickup all the men that have survived
a deadly bomb attack. You will need a steady hand to guide
yourself through each level. The new DX version has a special
2 player version similar to Gravity Force/Power.

    Super Tron
Addictive 1/2 player game(Better in 2 player mode). Guide to
bikes around the screen, leaving a trail. The trail begins to
make a maze, so now you have to watch you don't crash.

    Mega Ball
Guide a bouncing 'BOB' ball around mazes, using single joystick
pushes. Different puzzles such as invisible walls, painted
walls, smaller gaps, and just plain hardness gets in your way.
    Very hard and game.

    Coming Soon
    -----------
Conquest - Command & Conquer but for the amiga :) I have
plenty of new ideas but it is in early development.

Here is what I have planned (So far):
    -------------------------------------
The game will run on any AGA Amiga with 8MB RAM (1.5MB Chip,
6MB+ Fast) and a CD ROM.
      - Will help if you have a faster processor :)
3/4 Selectable teams to play, each with their own pros and cons.
A pref program so that you can adjust Conquest to your machine,
i.e. Screen Mode, AHI, TCP/IP Stack, Memory, Processor etc..
Level editor for making your own levels.
Head to Head / Multiplayer levels.
CD Audio Tracks for 16-bit sound music.
A wide selection of destroy/seek/protect/deliver/commando missons.
     Data Disks for expansion purposes.
i.e. Extra missions, Different gfx, extra units/buildings.
     Weather / Day+Night missions.
i.e. The weather effects the units speed and sight as well as
           the dark.
     Your ideas and comments.
