             Presents :   A M I G O I D S  By Marc Lafontaine
                           ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I  made  this program just for the fun of it and to test my routine for the
Blitter...  There is no SPRITE in that game...( Believe it or not! ).
STARTING THE GAME
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BEWARE --->>> BE SURE TO ASSIGN AMIGOIDS: to the dir that all the sound and
                         ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
              Pictures files BEFORE starting the game.
The best way is to copy all the files in the same directory and type in a
Cli "ASSIGN AMIGOIDS: DIRECTORY" without the quotes and where DIRECTORY is
the complet path of where the file where copied.
Example for the first time...
   STEP 1 =    Copy the all the files to DH0:Games except REQ.LIBRARY
   STEP 2 =    Copy the REQ.LIBRARY in your LIBS: directory
   STEP 3 =    Type in a CLI   Assign Amigoids: DH0:Games
   STEP 4 =    Start the game
For all the other time just do STEP 3 and STEP 4 ( Easy no ??? )
The game may be start by Workbench or in the CLI.
    CLI: Type Amigoids      to start the game
         Type Amigoids -r   for REQ.LIBRARY requester to choose PIC
    WB : Just click on the icon!
NOTE
~~~~
The Pics for the Amigoids are normal IFF files, 8 colors made in DPAINT III,
you can draw new one if you want.

    Include in the archive are :

        Amigoids.shape.ami - Amiga computer look alike shapes
        Amigoids.shape.B&W - Black and white style shape
        Amigoids.shape.fun - for the kid ( try it with EASY and NO STARS )
        Amigoids.shape.new - Vector look alike shapes
        Amigoids.shape.old - Atari 2600 look alike shapes
        Amigoids.shape.pic - Sinistar look alike shapes

The sounds files for Amigoids are:

        Amigoids.snd.ast_expl   - Asteroid explosion
        Amigoids.snd.BShip      - Big Saucer
        Amigoids.snd.ExtraShip  - Extra ship credit
        Amigoids.snd.Fire       - Player shot
        Amigoids.snd.Fire       - Player shot
        Amigoids.snd.GameOver   - Game over
        Amigoids.snd.LShip      - Little Saucer
        Amigoids.snd.Ship_Bump - Ship bump in two players games
        Amigoids.snd.Ship_Expl  - Players ship explosion
        Amigoids.snd.Trush      - Players trush

The game may slow down on higher level on some Amiga without FAST RAM.
To gain some speed you can take off the STARS in the background.
( Option in the menu or F6/F7 while playing. )
